Privacy notice under Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

Data and purposes. This personal academic website has no forms or analytics. IP addresses, browser information and request data are transmitted to the providers below to deliver the site and its content, on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest in making the site available (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). These data are necessary to use the respective services. Email is optional; sender details and message content are used to reply, on the same basis.

Recipients. GitHub hosts the site through GitHub Pages; Google supplies fonts and the embedded map; UNPKG, served through Cloudflare, delivers the Three.js animation library.

Transfers. Providers may process data outside the EEA. Transfers to GitHub, Google LLC and Cloudflare in the USA covered by their EU-US Data Privacy Framework certifications rely on the adequacy decision of 10 July 2023. Further safeguards, including standard contractual clauses, are described in their linked policies.

Retention. The controller does not retain browsing data. GitHub, Google and Cloudflare retain them as needed for their services and applicable obligations, under their linked policies. Emails are kept for the time needed to handle the correspondence.

Rights. Contact the controller to exercise applicable rights under Articles 15-22 GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. You may lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante). The controller carries out no profiling or automated decision-making.

Cookies. The site sets no cookies and uses no device storage. Embedded services are subject to their providers’ policies.
